I can’t remember a time when I didn’t love art. At the age of seven I’d already decided I was going to be a starving artist when I grew up. So, my parents were thrilled when I started learning the Adobe Creative Suite in high school, in a course called “commercial design.” I was only a high school sophomore when I decided I wanted a career in marketing, and hopefully wouldn’t end up with “starving” in my job title at all.
But teenage-hood is a time of self discovery, so of course I found myself auditioning for my first play the very next year, and I’ve loved theatre ever since.
In college, I decided to do both theatre, and art. I majored in Integrated Marketing Communications, and minored in Theatre.
My professional goals are to use my marketing expertise to support the arts. I’m especially interested in helping to make them more accessible, whether that’s physically or fiscally. I believe the performing and fine arts are how we share our individual human experiences with each other, and everyone deserves that opportunity. If you are looking for a compassionate leader with excellent communication skills, a scrappy approach to strategy, and a well trained eye I would love to hear from you.
