ABOUT

I majored in Integrated Marketing Communications and minored in Theatre, with the intent of combining the two things I am most passionate about, graphic design and theatre. I started as the Marketing Specialist at The Georgetown Palace Theatre, and quickly expanded my role from designing print ads and playbills to that of Marketing Director. By the end of my four years at the Palace, I had hired a small marketing team, Partnered with the Director of Development on a successful $5 million capital campaign, created and implemented a full brand suite with graphic and content style guides, lead a complete website re-design, established a social presence, and ultimately increased box office revenue by just over $1 million dollars a year.

I left the Palace for New York in February of 2020 to work at EverGreene Architectural Arts. As Marketing and Communications Manager I worked with the Director of Marketing and a Junior Marketing Coordinator to manage all external communications. My primary functions were content creation and coordination. We ideated, planned, and executed extensive cross platform campaigns, aligning content on our social channels, our website, email campaigns, and sometimes print media. Two of these campaigns were recognized with industry awards by SMPS. I also managed project photography, establishing a flow for capturing progress images to illustrate the stories of EverGreene’s historic preservation projects. This role was highly collaborative, and allowed me to partner with fine art conservators, muralists, and craftsmen on content creation.

I joined the prestigious International Architecture firm Ennead as Communications Coordinator in 2022, was promoted to Communications Manager in 2024. I work closely with the firm’s 10 partners and Director of Business Development to plan, coordinate, and execute all external communications. This includes 40+ awards submissions per year (52% win rate), strategic social content on all platforms (30% growth in my first 9 months), web content, and press (in coordination with an outside PR company). I also plan, coordinate, and direct final photography for all completed projects. I ensure all our collateral meets a certain aesthetic standard, and act as brand guardian for all external comms. I enjoy working one on one with our partners and principals. Learning their personal preferences and working styles has allowed me to adapt my approach and find optimal ways of working with each of them.

As I look forward, and pursue career growth, I am looking for a role that incorporates aspects of content creation, storytelling, brand guardianship, and opportunities for mentorship.
